My Ideal ‘Everest Base Camp Trek’ Packing List – Nepal

I’ll be taking a trip to Nepal in less than 2 weeks to do the Everest Base Camp trek!  Upon preparing for this exciting adventure, one of the most nerve-racking things I’ve come across is making sure I have everything I need. If you forget something important, it may not be available … or it could be really expensive, so I have broken down the list into 6 categories of what I think are the things you, the trekker, will need most. Since you are responsible for not only getting yourself up & down the mountain, but also your belongings as well, you are going to want to pack as light as possible. Additionally, the airplanes taking you to Lukla have strict weight limits due to their size, so you want to be sure as well that you don’t exceed that.

As you all may know, Traveling is not my full-time job, so this limits me to really only visiting a few places a year. Because of this, I thought it might be helpful to outline my upcoming travels so that you will know when and where I am going in the future. I will hopefully be updating this blog on a more ongoing basis as I book travel (’cause you know, it’s not really real until it’s BOOKED)

A Small Glimpse of Norway

Hello! This year I had the awesome opportunity to spend a few days in the amazing nordic country of Norway. Unfortunately I did not have much time there, due to being on a business trip, but the time I did have gave me a little tease of what Norway has to offer. (Hint: a lot).

May 2018 I decided to go to New Orleans (affectionately dubbed ‘NOLA’), as I had wanted to do that for the Presidents Day Weekend trip I did Nashville, but the prices were too high then. I had seen many travel shows on New Orleans and each one excited me more than the last. Being the foodies I am, I know New Orleans would surely not disappoint in that area, and I was 100% correct!
