Hi Friends! We hope you are all staying safe & healthy during this pandemic. Since we have not been able to travel, we wanted to update you on what we have been doing to keep our minds off how much we miss it! We have been making the most of our time in the Long Island area by trying to keep busy and not staying in the house too much. What cool interesting things have you been doing back in your hometowns?Continue reading “Checking In: Update On What We’ve Been Up To”
Hello friends! It’s been a while since we’ve written. Thanks for hanging in! Rough times when our hearts yearn for travel, but we have been making the most of it here at home. New York is one of the states now with the lowest COVID infection rates so things are on the upswing here. Much of the US is seeing rises in cases and even domestic travel, while allowed, comes with some restrictions. Despite this, we did manage to get some travel in! Read on to learn about our trip to Newport, RI.
Hello friends! Since we’re stuck inside quarantining from the COVID-19 virus, what better way to spend the time than catching up on our blogging? We have now been back in the States for almost a week since we got back from our most recent trip and we’re so excited to share our experiences with you! As some of you may know, we were supposed to go to Beijing, China on the 72 hour visa-free transit program. Unfortunately we had to change our plans due to the virus, (as China was the epicenter at the time) and decided to re-purpose those first three days between Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia instead, and kept Cambodia and India as originally planned. Even with this change of plans, we are happy with how the trip turned out and would definitely recommend a visit to these 4 places. Read on to find out how we spent our amazing 17 days in Asia!
Last month, December 2019, we had the opportunity to go to Morocco for a week. We arrived in Marrakesh after a long stopover in Madrid. Morocco has been a place we have been wanting to go to for quite some time and finally we had an opportunity to squeeze in the trip over Christmas break! We spent 6 amazing days in Morocco between Marrakesh and the Sahara, and would love to share our experience here with you.
Hello! Sam here.
Since my job affords me the opportunity to travel the world, (which, if you’re an avid “Saif Travels” reader, you already know), I recently got to go to the exciting Brisbane, Australia! While there, I had a few days of not working, where I was able to explore the city, and I would like to share some of what I did here with you!
Hello friends! Jackie here. I have just gotten back from a trip to Portugal, Denmark & The Netherlands and I had such a great time! I am so excited to share my experience with you all in this blog. Read on … 🙂
This July (2019) we finally got a chance to visit a place that has been on our bucket list for a very long time, Africa! Since Sam is an animal lover and very against seeing animals at zoos and aquariums, Africa afforded us the chance to see these magnificent creatures in their own habitat! The beauty of this continent astounded us at every turn. Read on to learn how we spent our 2 amazing weeks here.
Because I had to go to Europe again for work, I (Sam) took an opportunity to spend a few days in London. Due the small amount of time I had there, I did a lot of research on how to best spend it, and I am going to share with you all what I chose to do.
After my work trip in Japan, I (Sam) needed a dose of relaxation from the demanding schedule I had just been working. Cebu was not too far so I decided to extend my trip and spend 4 days in this amazing place! Four days in the Philippines is definitely not enough, but it is better than nothing and gave me the taste I needed – to know if I’d want to return or not (hint: I do! It was glorious). So what did I do with my limited time? I spent it on Cebu Island relaxing and snorkeling. Read on to learn about my 4-day itinerary!
