One of the best things about living in the NYC metropolitan area is the proximity to many amazing cities right at our doorstep. One place that never disappoints is Washington DC. This place has so much history, even if you are the furthest thing from a history buff, our nation’s capital is sure to bring a thrill.
5 hours north of our home on Long Island, lies the beautiful, charming city of Boston. Boston is one of the Northeast’s most historical and fun cities to visit. Home of the baked bean, Red Sox baseball and some of the nation’s top universities, here is a list of things to do while visiting Boston:
San Diego will always have a special place in our hearts mostly because Sam’s family lives there, he lived there for a while and because 3 months ago we said our ‘I-do’s’ in this beautiful place amongst 65 friends and family. If you haven’t had the privilege to visit this beautiful West Coast mecca, I suggest you do so as soon as possible!
Hello, Sam here! I’m here to talk about my trip to ‘The Windy City’ back in 2015. It was one of my roommate’s birthday weekend and we all felt like we needed a getaway – what better way to celebrate than a trip to Chicago?
Hello, Sam here! This year I had the awesome opportunity to spend a few days in the amazing nordic country of Norway. Unfortunately I did not have much time there, due to being on a business trip, but the time I did have gave me a little tease of what Norway has to offer. (Hint: a lot).
May 2018 had been a year after Sam had proposed to me and we were looking to celebrate this milestone in our lives and also get in ‘one last hurrah’ before our wedding that coming July. We decided to go to New Orleans (affectionately dubbed ‘NOLA’), as we had wanted to do that for the Presidents Day Weekend trip we did Nashville, but the prices were too high then. We had seen many travel shows on New Orleans and each one excited us more than the last. Being the foodies we are, we knew New Orleans would surely not disappoint in that area, and we were 100% correct!
It was winter and the cold New York weather had gotten us thinking about travel. Trying to get away for Presidents Day Weekend, we looked into a few places but between booked up hotels and pricey flights, we ended up getting an amazing deal on Nashville!
If you’re looking for a fun little domestic escape for a couple of days, this is seriously the place! This little but charming city astounded us at every turn – so much to see & do! Read on to learn about how we spent 3 amazing days in ‘Music City!’
