Summer 2024 took me to Belize. With my trips, normally I am in charge of the plans and the itinerary. With this trip to Belize it was organized by a friend who was from the area. It was nice to just go on a trip and go with the flow and not worry about a thing.

Here is exactly how we spent our time there:

We landed in Belize city and after a nights sleep we headed down to a place called Placencia. We were very lucky to have had our trip to Belize during the annual Lobsterfest celebration there. Lobsterfest celebration was held at Placencia Beach. The Beach and the ocean was amazing to swim in. Placencia also has a lot of good food, cool bars, and just an overall chill vibe.

Not only that we drove up to Stan Creek. Stan Creek is located near the Hopkins Bay Area. Stan Creek Area offers zipping, river tubing, waterfalls, etc. It was basically an adventure park

After our time in Placencia we ventured up to visit the Mayan Ruins of Xuanantunich. What an amazing place and cultural experience. Mayan ruins never disappoint.

After the ruins we went back to Belize city and hopped on a ferry over to Caye Caulker. Caye Caulker was amazing. In Caye Caulker we spent time at the beach, went to some cool day bars, fed tarpon, and did a sailboat snorkeling cruise.

We were in Belize for about a week and we loved our time there. I hope to go back and see more. Thank you for stopping by and as always, Saif Travels.
